We invite you to take a journey through the islands of Innse Gall from the machair of the west coast to the rugged inlets of the east, across the heather moorland of the uplands, around the inland lochans and through sphagnum bogs. We will introduce you to the wildlife and reveal it in intimate detail through the macro lens of our camera.
We begin on a windswept croft on the northwest corner of South Uist and make our way south and east towards Eriskay and northwards to North Uist and Berneray. Year by year we will add to our collection of photographs and slowly make a small contribution to our knowledge of the biodiversity of these beautiful islands.Copyright C&C Johnson 2010
